Next meeting: Tuesday morning, 17th September 2013
Our subject for discussion will be Chapter 4, 'The Side Door' of Richard Holloway’s memoir ‘Leaving Alexandria’
I look forward to seeing you all then.
We are united in an openness of approach and a rejection of formulas, creeds and 'isms'. We are interested in and committed to the political and social implications of our beliefs or life stances.
We meet in each other's homes about once per month on a Friday morning. We spend some time sharing the events, thoughts, occasions that have affected or moved us since the last meeting and then reflect on a DVD, newspaper article, book, poem etc. We also organise theatre visits.
New members are welcome.

Words which give peace, words which are good and beautiful and true, and also the reading of sacred books: this is the harmony of words.
Quietness of mind, silence, self-harmony, loving-kindness, and a pure heart: this is the harmony of the mind.
